Analysis of core characteristics
Composition and structure
Material ratio: Mainly nylon (PA) (80%-82%), combined with spandex (EL, 18%-20%), and Knitted by Warp knitting process (warp-knitted) to form high-density, high-elasticity double-sided or single-sided structure.
Gloss treatment: The use of glossy nylon yarn or surface coating technology to enhance the gloss of the fabric, in line with the needs of swimsuit fashion design.
Physical property
Gram weight and door width: common gram weight is 190-200g/㎡, door width 150-170cm, suitable for swimsuit tailoring requirements.
Elasticity and durability: warp and weft elastic elongation ≥30%, tear strength ≥25N (ASTM D2261), wear resistance level 4 (ISO 12947-2).
Functional finishing
Dyeing and color fastness: acid or disperse dye process, color fastness up to ISO 4-5, some products support printing or hot stamping treatment.
Additional functions: It can be finished with moisture absorption, anti-ultraviolet (UPF 40+), anti-bacterial, etc., to improve wearing comfort and protection.
Application scenario
Swimwear and sportswear: Designed for swimwear, surf wear, yoga wear, both high elastic fit and chlorine water resistance.
Underwear and outdoor equipment: suitable for sports underwear, light outdoor clothing, using its lightweight and breathable advantages.
